1. Can you arrange airline tickets for domestic and international flights? Yes, we have a partner travel agency, Coron Tours & Travel. We can assist you for all your local and international flights, transfers and accommodations.
2. Will someone meet me at the Busuanga Airport? Yes, our Guest Service Officers will meet you at Busuanga Airport upon your arrival. They will be carrying an El Rio y Mar sign and will be in complete uniform, so they are hard to miss.
3. How do I contact the resort in case of sudden flight changes? Our resort numbers are: (632) 668-3929 or (63)920-951-5009.
4. Can I pay for my incidentals using a credit card? Yes, we accept any major credit cards at no additional cost. We also accept foreign currencies.
5. Tipping? If you feel our services merit a token, we observe a Centralized Tipping Policy. Gratuities are evenly distributed among all the employees. Individual tipping is discouraged.
6. Do you have internet? We have wifi available in common areas at the resort.
7. Medical treatments? We have an in-house resort doctor and a clinic with ample medical equipment and supplies. In case a medical evacuation is necessary, we can arrange land, sea or air transports.
8. Security? We have licensed security guards on duty 24/7.
9. Cellphone services? Smart – strong signal, Globe – selected areas of the resort, Sun – no signal throughout Busuanga island
10. Are there other dining establishments around the resort for us to choose from? El Rio y Mar is in a remote location, the nearest commercial establishment is our sister resort, Club Paradise which is 30 minutes away by boat. Coron town proper is 2 hours away by chartered boat and van. No public transportation available.
11. Can we visit Club Paradise if we are staying at El Rio y Mar Resort? Yes, as sister companies, guests of Club Paradise and El Rio y Mar can visit and use facilities in both resorts. Only 30 minutes by boat, guests can go via regular boat transfers or rent a boat. Boat charges apply.
