Coron Animal Savers
Supporting Coron Animal Savers
Coron Animal Savers is a small group of dedicated people working tirelessly to protect and rescue stray dogs and cats in Coron, Palawan. Their mission is to organize regular mass sterilization and vaccination programs to reduce the stray animal population and prevent further suffering.
They currently care for more than 50 rescued dogs and cats, many of which have been saved from severe abuse, injury, or life-threatening conditions on the streets. The organization also advocates for animal rights and continues to fight against animal cruelty and the illegal dog meat trade.
Coron Animal Savers receives no government support and relies entirely on donations to provide food, medical treatment, and life-saving surgeries for the animals in their care.
El Rio y Mar Resort is proud to support Coron Animal Savers and their incredible work, helping give these animals a second chance at life.

From Our Garden to Your Plate
At El Rio y Mar Resort, we take pride in growing some of our own vegetables and greens in our garden. Freshly picked straight from our garden to your plate, we ensure that every meal is as fresh, healthy, and sustainable as possible.
Growing our own produce allows us to reduce transport, minimize environmental impact, and provide our guests with fresh ingredients every day. It also allows our kitchen team to create dishes using locally grown, seasonal ingredients.
This is a small but meaningful step towards more sustainable and responsible hospitality — and a better dining experience for our guests.
